Water Corporation Health, Safety and Environment Contractor Induction System

Welcome to the Water Corporation Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Contractor Induction System.

This induction provides an overview of our contractor requirements around HSE.  Prior to commencing work with the Water Corporation, you must complete the induction and be able to show proof of completion when requested.

Does this apply to me?
If you work at a Water Corporation site or asset, you are required to complete this induction if:

  • you are a contractor or sub-contractor, or
  • you work for a contractor or sub-contractor

You are not required to complete this induction if you are employed by the Water Corporation on a ‘Contract for Service’ (agency contract > 2 months) or an ‘Employee Contract’. Water Corporation employees must complete the induction courses listed in the Learning Management System (LMS).

If you’re not sure if this induction applies to you, please contact your Water Corporation representative or visit the ‘Help’ area on the right of this page.

When will I receive my HSE Induction Card?
Completion of the Field based induction entitles you to print a certificate of completion on the spot. This certificate serves as an interim HSE Induction Card. It is proof of your qualification until your official card is posted to you.

To access any Water Corporation asset or site, you must complete the Field based induction and carry your interim certificate or HSE Induction Card with you at all times.

If you have not received your official HSE Induction Card by the 10th of the following month, please call the Help Desk on 08 9420 3090.

Please ensure you supply a correct postal address. If you do not provide the correct address, you will not receive your official card and will be denied access to Water Corporation sites.

Completion of the Office based induction qualifies you for a certificate of completion (which you are able to print on the spot) and access to an office based environment only.
